Zoe Saldana Supports FINCA Relief in Haiti

Besides being a beautiful and successful actress, Zoe Saldana is also an avid advocate for FINCA’s efforts to help rebuild Haiti.

The “Avatar” hottie appears in a new Public Service Announcement to encourage everyone to team up in the “Hand Up for Haiti” campaign.

She explains, “One year after the devastating tragedy in Haiti, the need to help people get back on their feet is still tremendous.”

“One way you can continue the recovery is by supporting FINCA’s Hand Up for Haiti Campaign. When the quake hit, FINCA first made sure their clients and staff were safe, then they talked with each and every client to assess how they had been impacted. The first thing they did was forgive the loans of 4,500 clients to help protect the remaining assets and enable them to restart their businesses without a debt burden.”

“Today, FINCA is serving approximately 8,000 Haitian clients. Please give generously to the Hand Up for Haiti Campaign.”

Eva and Zoe in Graphic Prints

Last night, the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards was held in California. Actresses Eva Mendes and Zoe Saldana are both known for their impeccable styles, and they did not disappoint this evening either. Both opted for dresses in graphic prints, worn with colourful heels and large statement rings. Eva Mendes chose a dress from Chanel's S/S 2011 collection and teamed it together with turquoise heels by Pierre Hardy and a Le Vian ring.

Zoe Saldana wore a dress by Dolce & Gabbana from their S/S 2011 collection. A pair of orange Brian Atwood pumps decorated her feet, and her accessories for the evening was a clutch by Bottega Veneta and Piaget jewelry.
